How do I book Blue Note Karaoke?

It's easy! Fill out our booking request form on the Book Us page, or give us a call at 844-SING-314 (844-746-4314). We'll confirm availability and get your event on the calendar.

Question 2

What is the minimum booking time?

All packages require a 2-hour minimum booking. This applies to Pull Up & Park, Ride Around Town, and Pop-Up Karaoke. Large Events are custom-quoted based on your needs.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially for weekends and holidays. That said, reach out even if it's last minute — we'll do our best to accommodate you!

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required to hold your date. Contact us for deposit details when you submit your booking request.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods. Contact us for specific payment options.

Do you charge travel fees?

Travel fees may apply for events outside the Saint Louis metro area. We'll let you know upfront when you request a quote.

We have over 10,000 songs available across all genres — pop, R&B, hip-hop, country, rock, oldies, and more. There's something for everyone!

How many people can ride on the karaoke bus?

Our karaoke bus comfortably accommodates groups for a private, intimate experience. Contact us with your group size and we'll let you know the best package for you.

Can I bring my own music or song requests?

Absolutely! You can submit song requests in advance and we'll do our best to have them ready. Our library is constantly growing.

Do I need to be a good singer to enjoy karaoke?

Not at all! Blue Note Karaoke is a judgment-free zone. Our founder Barbara McGhee believes karaoke is for everyone — it's about self-expression, fun, and connection, not perfection.

What equipment is included?

Every booking includes a professional karaoke system, wireless microphones, high-quality speakers, and a screen to display lyrics. We handle all setup and teardown.

Is a host or DJ included?

Yes! The Ride Around Town package includes a driver and host. All packages include a professional attendant to keep the fun going and the music flowing.

What is the difference between Pull Up & Park and Ride Around Town?

Pull Up & Park ($175/hr) means we come to your location and stay stationary — perfect for backyards, parking lots, or venues. Ride Around Town ($200/hr) is a rolling karaoke experience where guests ride along and sing through the streets of Saint Louis.

What is Pop-Up Karaoke?

Pop-Up Karaoke ($175/hr) is our most flexible option — we transform any space into a karaoke experience. Classrooms, parks, event spaces, community centers — you name it. We even bring our own tent for outdoor events!

Where can you set up for Pop-Up Karaoke?

Almost anywhere! We've set up at parks, classrooms, event halls, community centers, corporate offices, and more. We bring all the equipment and our own tent for outdoor setups.

How much space do you need for setup?

For stationary setups, we need a reasonably flat area large enough to park the bus or set up our tent and equipment. Contact us with your venue details and we'll confirm everything in advance.

Do you provide setup and teardown?

Yes! Setup and teardown are included in every package. We arrive early to get everything ready and handle all cleanup after the event.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Saint Louis, Missouri and primarily serve the Saint Louis metro area. We may be able to travel further for large events — contact us to discuss.

We do it all — birthday parties, bachelorette/bachelor parties, corporate events, team building, weddings, school events, community festivals, health & wellness programs, city government events, and more.

Yes! We love bringing karaoke to school events, after-school programs, and family-friendly gatherings. All content is kept age-appropriate.

Can you accommodate large corporate or government events?

Absolutely. Our Large Events package is designed specifically for corporate events, city government programs, weddings, and festivals. We offer custom pricing and a dedicated event coordinator. Call us for a quote.

Do you offer health and wellness karaoke programs?

Yes! Our founder Barbara McGhee is a licensed mental health therapist who believes in the healing power of music. We offer wellness-focused karaoke programs for healthcare organizations, senior centers, schools, and community groups.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel. We'll work with you to find a solution.

What happens if it rains for an outdoor event?

For Pop-Up Karaoke, we bring our own tent to protect against light rain. For severe weather, we'll work with you to reschedule or find an indoor alternative.

Is a waiver required?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the event. You can review and sign the waiver on our Waiver page.

Can we bring food and drinks on the bus?

Yes! Food and drinks are welcome on the Blue Note Karaoke bus. Feel free to bring snacks, beverages, and refreshments to enjoy while you sing. We just ask that guests are mindful of the space and clean up after themselves so everyone can have a great time.
